“Clase de computación” (Computer Basics) will be offered on Saturday, June 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Heritage Library. This one-hour computer class will help you basic computer, Internet, and Microsoft Office skills. There is no charge to attend.

Learn the art of origami at the Main Library! On Saturday, May 25th, kids ages 6-12 can learn to fold paper to make flowers, animals, and other shapes with Damian Miranda. The fun begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Children’s Craft Room. Materials will be provided. There is no charge to attend.

The Yuma County Library District is pleased to announce the launch of Enterprise, a new online catalog, on Tuesday, May 28th.
The new catalog features intuitive search capabilities, highlights the library’s digital collection, and spotlights new materials. Use your library card number and PIN to log into your account to renew items, place holds on items, and check out digital material. “Like” your favorite items for your Facebook page!
BookMyne, a free application, is also available for your mobile device.
Beginning Monday, May 20th, the Pick Up Window, located on the west side of the Main Library, will be open Monday through Thursday from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Patrons who receive notification that an item is being held for them can call 373-6492 and request their hold be moved to the pickup window. Pick-ups should be scheduled at least one hour in advance. Items not picked up after 24 hours will be re-shelved.

Teens are invited to the San Luis Library on Thursday, May 30th, to create Blackout Poems! From 4:00-5:00 p.m., black out words in discarded newspapers and books and share the poetry you’ve composed! There is no charge to attend.
