Don’t just read books—experience them! The Yuma County Library District is pleased to offer Axis 360, a revolutionary digital media platform that provides interactive eBooks in multiple formats to serve a range of PCs, e-readers and mobile devices.

Library patrons can create an account with their library card and download the free Blio and Acoustik software. The apps are available for every major desktop and mobile platform.

Using Blio, readers can experience full color content and access videos and animation associated with the text. Blio also allows you to take notes, highlight text, and print from the page. Acoustik provides access to professionally recorded audio.

The Yuma County Library District is pleased to announce the launch of Enterprise, a new online catalog, on Tuesday, May 28th.

The new catalog features intuitive search capabilities, highlights the library’s digital collection, and spotlights new materials. Use your library card number and PIN to log into your account to renew items, place holds on items, and check out digital material. “Like” your favorite items for your Facebook page!

BookMyne, a free application, is also available for your mobile device.

Discover a treasure trove during the Yuma County Library District’s 2013 Summer Reading Program “Dig into Reading!” Readers of all ages can participate in programs designed to foster and support a love of reading.

Yuma County Libraries will be closed all day Monday, May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day. The libraries will resume their regular hours Tuesday, May 28th.
