eBooks and Audiobooks

Electronic books are books that can be downloaded to a computer. They appear in the catalog just like regular items, but say ‘electronic resource’ by the title, with the location as Main. To access e-books, you will need to create a user account in OverDrive. Once you have an account, you can find items in our catalog or by searching in OverDrive.

eBooks Instructions

  • Kindle
  • Nook, Sony eReader, Literati, and Kobo
  • IPad and smart phones

eBooks & Audiobooks

  • OverdriveAudio Books and Ebooks from OverDrive. Once downloaded, audio books can be listened to on your computer or transferred to a portable media device. Check out up to 5 titles at a time, and at the end of the lending period, the audio books will expire from your computer and be returned automatically.
  • Axis 360, Baker & Taylor’s digital media eBooks.  Once downloaded, audio books can be listened to on your computer or transferred to a portable media device. Check out up to 5 titles at a time, and at the end of the lending period, the audio books will expire from your computer and be returned automatically.

 

Audiobooks

  • Audio Books from Ebsco. Every 90 days, users need to authenticate their account, remote users will need an ID/password. Please call the Main library’s periodical desk to obtain the ID/password at (928) 373-6482.
  • ocd_lib_web-banner-thmb_editedOneClickdigital is a website and platform for downloading audiobooks. Remote users: the first time you create an account from outside the library you need to input the Library Access Code: yumalibrary.
