Beginning Thursday, November 15th, the Somerton Library, in collaboration with Eight-Arizona PBS Educational Outreach, will provide a series of five Family Literacy Workshops. This series will increase your understanding of reading and language development of children birth to 5 years of age. You will be provided a FREE book and other materials to use with your young children.
Workshops will be held Thursday, November 15th, 29th and December 6th, 13th & 20th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Workshops are available in Spanish. Childcare will be provided for children birth to age 5 while parents attend workshops.
There is no charge to attend; however, space is limited and registration is recommended. Register by calling (855) 818-6613. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
Family Literacy Workshops were funded by a grant from First Things First, Yuma Regional Partnership Council.
