The Wellton Library serves as a community hub for the area’s lifelong learners. We have 25 adult computers, 6 computers for teens and 6 computers for younger children. Wellton is a multi-cultural community with strong ties to farming and agriculture. There is plenty of seating for quiet reading and tables for patrons that have their own laptops, and access our free wifi service. The experienced staff regularly give computer classes, both in English and Spanish, Conversational English & Spanish classes, craft and cooking classes. We participate in the annual Summer Reading Program to further reading and fun activities during the summer months. We also sponsor BabyTime, StoryTime, and TeenTime to help keep community members busy. We have volunteer opportunities. There is a snack and coffee area run by the Friends of the Wellton Library. We also have a “Quiet Study Room” as well as an 83 person capacity meeting room, which can be used by the community.
