Teen Movies @ Main Library

Teens are invited to the Main Library afternoons in March for teen movies.

Monday, March 4th @ 4:00 p.m.
Duck Soup (1933)
Widely considered the Marx Brothers funniest movie. (NR) After the film, check out our books on small wars.

Tuesday, March 5th @ 4:00 p.m.
Wreck-It-Ralph (2012)
A video game villain wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives. (PG) After the film, check out our books on video games.

Monday, March 11th @ 4:00 p.m.
The Three Stooges (1933)
We will screen several of the Three Stooges best shorts. (NR) After the film, check out our books on home safety.

Tuesday, March 12th @ 4:00 p.m.
Rise of the Guardians (2012)
Santa Clause, the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy team up to save the children of the world from an evil threat. (PG) Based on The Guardians of Childhood series by William Boyce.

Monday, March 18th @ 4:00 p.m.
Looney Tunes (1940s)
We will be showing some of the best Looney Tunes shorts. (NR) After the film, check out our books on animals.

Tuesday, March 19th @ 4:00 p.m.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
A younger and more reluctant Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, sets out on an “unexpected journey” to the Lonely Mountain with a spirited group of Dwarves to reclaim their stolen mountain home from a dragon named Smaug. (PG-13) Based on the book by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Monday, March 25th @ 4:00 p.m.
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)
Two hapless freight handlers find themselves encountering Dracula, the Frankenstein Monster and the Wolf Man. Based on the books by Mary Shelly and Bram Stoker.

Tuesday, March 26th @ 4:00 p.m.
Les Miserables (2012)
A convict tries to amend his life while being chased by a policeman. (PG-13) Based on the book by Victor Hugo.
