Business Resources & Services

Announcing:

Improved Job Help Hub services at our Branch Libraries.

Part-time instructor Jose Carrizales is now visiting each of our Branches once a week to provide bilingual training and one-on-one assistance with resumes, job searches, and employment applications.  Call your local Branch for hours Jose will be available.

The Job Help Hub is one of 28 Arizona Job Assistance Centers (AzJAC) in libraries throughout the state. The AzJAC was developed by the Arizona State Library to create public locations throughout the state to assist those seeking employment by means of furthering education and career training.

This project was supported with funds granted by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records Agency under the Broadband USA: Connecting America’s Communities grant, which is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009.

Small Business & Start-ups

Resource Focus:

Small Business Reference Center provides the most up-to-date information on topics related to starting a company, operation management, sales, and growing or rescuing a business.

This resource offers a wide variety of information on small business and entrepreneurial subject areas, common business types, a help and advice section, and provides information on how to create business plans that lead to successful funding.

Business videos provide critical information for business owners: interviews, ‘lessons learned’ features, lectures and ‘how to’ videos help foster success in all aspects of managing a business.

A collection of state-specific resources supports the researcher with demographic data and other local information.
