The Yuma County Library has partnered with local economic development centers and Arizona State University Entrepreneurship Outreach Network to create a collaborative work space at the Yuma County Main Library. The ‘Coworking Oasis’ hosts a variety of entrepreneurship, start-up, and small business programs for the public. Programs will be provided in the Coworking Oasis room and 2nd floor classroom depending on participant group size.
The Coworking Oasis is free and open to the public for start-up and business related activities. The space cannot be reserved by the public, and there is no time limit to use the space. If, however, there is a scheduled program on the room calendar, that is the only time the space is reserved for business programming. The area is equipped with a dedicated Wi-Fi connection with a password, a mobile dry erase board, a collaborative computer/media station, and access to library resources. If you would like to use any of the equipment found in the room please ask a library staff member for assistance.

Entrepreneurship Outreach Network (ASU) Startup School
2nd & 4th Thursdays 5:30pm – 7:00pm | Coworking Oasis Room
*Startup School is starting again in October. Stage One is comprised of five lessons. They include customer development, enterprise development, and team development. Successful completion of all units within Stage One will teach participating entrepreneurs about what it is like to become an entrepreneur, how to turn your idea into something that can be marketed, and determine the types of people your idea will serve. These are facilitated lessons are designed with group discussion in mind to help those in attendance.
Registration is not required to attend the facilitated class but is recommended.
