“My Extraordinary Life” author Monica Vickers

On Friday, March 20th, author Monica Vickers will discuss her book My Extraordinary Life at 10:30 a.m. at the Foothills Library.

Monica was born with 3 missing limbs and was not expected to survive even a few weeks, let alone live a full adult life. My Extraordinary Life is an inspirational, uplifting book describing struggles, joys, and hardships associated with growing up with a disability. Books will be available for purchase, and book signings will commence after the program. There is no charge to attend.

Robot Hands @ Main Library

Kids ages 8-12 are invited to the Main Library on Friday, March 20th, to make robot hands at 3:30 p.m. Use everyday objects such as straws, cups, and string to construct a robot hand with moving fingers! There is no charge to attend; however, space is limited.
