Lotería Family Night @ Foothills Library

On Tuesday, June 3rd and 17th, the Foothills Library is hosting Lotería Family Night from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Bring your family to the library to play lotería (bingo)! There is no charge to attend.

Lego Club @ Foothills Library

Building is child’s play at the Foothills Library! Lego Club will be held Saturday, May 31st, at 1:00 p.m. Ages 6-12 and their parents are welcome to attend. Meet other Lego enthusiasts, and share building ideas! There is no charge to attend.

Abstract Art @ Heritage Library

On Thursday, May 29th come to the Heritage Library at 2:00 p.m. and learn about Abstraction in Art. Explore different mediums such as; soft pastels, Indian ink, Acrylic paint, charcoal, etc. Materials will be provided. So come practice, learn, grow, explore and advance your skills. An Instructor will guide you throughout the process and give you tips on how to turn your art into a masterpiece!

DIY Paint @ Foothills Library

Little artists are invited to the Foothills Library at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24th, to make their own washable paint! Using household ingredients, children of all ages can mix their favorite colors to take home with them. Materials will be provided. There is no charge to attend.

eMagazines for Teens @ Somerton Library

Teens can learn how to download eMagazines at the Somerton Library! On Thursday, May 15th, library staff will demonstrate how to use Zinio, the library’s electronic magazine subscription, at 4:00 p.m. With Zinio, you can read current issues of Vibe, US Weekly, Games, and other titles on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Electronic devices welcome! There is no charge to attend.

Letters to Soldiers @ Foothills Library

Celebrate Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day by thanking a soldier! On Saturday, May 17th, children of all ages are invited to the Foothills Library at 1:00 p.m. to write letters and draw pictures to send to U.S. troops overseas. Materials will be provided. There is no charge to attend.

Electro Science @ Main Library

Enjoy some science at the Main Library! On Friday, May 16th, kids ages 8-12 are invited to the Children’s Craft Room at 3:30 p.m. for “Electro Science!” Learn about electricity through fun experiments, including a battery made out of a lemon!
