Thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios, record companies and publishers – are available to borrow for instant streaming or temporary downloading to smartphones, tablets and computers. Sign up today! Library card holders can visit https://www.hoopladigital.com/home to get started. Download the free hoopla digital mobile app, or simply sign up and stream content through your Internet browser. All content is available all the time–there’s no waiting to borrow popular movies, TV shows, albums or audiobooks. And hoopla digital’s automatic return feature eliminates late fees! Zinio Digital Magazines

zinioIn addition to eBooks and eAudio Books, the Yuma County Library District is pleased to offer access to digital magazines! Zinio Digital Magazines are now available through the library’s website. With a library card, nearly 100 magazine titles, including Consumer Reports, Popular Mechanics, and National Geographic are available to download to computers and mobile devices.

eBooks and eAudiobooks from Axis 360

Don’t just read books—experience them! The Yuma County Library District is pleased to offer Axis 360, a revolutionary digital media platform that provides interactive eBooks in multiple formats to serve a range of PCs, e-readers and mobile devices. The axisReader app is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play. With axisReader, you can create a permanent link between your device and the library’s Axis 360 collection.  Checkout, download, and read ebooks in a one simple set of steps!

 

Library patrons can create an account with their library card and download the free Blio and Acoustik software. The apps are available for every major desktop and mobile platform.

 

Using Blio, readers can experience full color content and access videos and animation associated with the text. Blio also allows you to take notes, highlight text, and print from the page. Acoustik provides access to professionally recorded audio.
