Digital Sandbox

eow_0331_d_sandboxThe Yuma County Library District is pleased to announce the addition of two HP workstations with commercial and open source software at the Main Library. Dubbed the “Digital Sandbox,” the workstations are available to the public for graphic design, animation, and art. There is no charge to use the workstations.

Need help getting started? Librarian Nicholas Dawson will lead introductory sessions every Saturday in April, May, and June from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Compete! Beginning April 1st, students ages 13-24 are invited to demonstrate their skills in a logo-designing contest. For more information and contest guidelines, contact Nicholas Dawson at (928) 373-6485 or nicholas.dawson@yumalibrary.org.

The Main Library is located at 2951 S 21st Drive.
