Chris Coolman, Library Assistant I-Youth Services, Foothills Library has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for April 2020. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Chris:
“Chris consistently goes above and beyond when assisting both patrons and staff. For the past several years, he has spearheaded Harry Potter Day, which brings in hundreds of people every time it is held. In addition, he has also headed up the Winter Reading Program, encouraging and supporting the love of literacy in youth District-wide. He attracts dozens of youth to his story times and constantly works on tweaking and improving Sensory Story time to address the evolving needs of District patrons. Chris has a wealth of experience and knowledge, which he utilizes to great effect in his work for Foothills and the District. For these reasons, Chris deserves to be employee of the month.”
Chris received a mounted certificate, a name plate in the book of his choice, an Employee of the Month pin, and his photo will be hung at the Foothills Library during the month of April. Congratulations Chris!
