Julie Calderon, Librarian, has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for August 2021. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Julie:
“Julie Calderon is a valuable member of the Information Services team who has willingly taken on new duties while always being friendly and supportive to her co-workers. Julie uses her excellent customer service skills to assist patrons in finding print resources, as well as to help them download digital resources. Julie’s many duties and projects include coordinating the book club kits and the Adult Summer Reading program, contributing to library displays, taking on Government Documents responsibilities, and creating several unique and interesting virtual presentations.
