In conjunction with Banned Books Week, Librarian Jim Patrick presents “Music Censorship: Banned Bands and Taboo Tunes” at the Main Library on Tuesday, September 29th, at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy an interactive history of music censorship, including stories about the Ed Sullivan Show, the anti-ragtime movement, and the FBI investigation of “Louie, Louie!” There is no charge to attend.
