Celebrate 95 years of public library service at the Heritage Library! On Wednesday, February 24th, join us at 5:00 p.m. for light refreshments and a look back at the history of library service in Yuma County. Kids can enjoy coloring and other birthday activities, including photos with Booker Bear! There is no charge to attend this family-friendly event.
The Heritage Library, originally known as the Yuma Carnegie Library, opened on February 24th, 1921, with 1,053 volumes and seating for 20 people. Over the past 95 years, the Yuma County Library District has grown to include a Main Library and seven branches.
