Carmen Spaniard, Library Assistant I/Spanish Outreach, has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for October 2018. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Carmen:
“Carmen is an exceptional co-worker that is always willing to help other on their projects. She is very friendly and always demonstrates a positive attitude. Carmen is a very hard worker that loves the responsibility of her position and shows it through her performance. The program “Origins”, which she delivers every year with the help from a Professor from Arizona Western College earned Yuma County, the Library District and the San Luis Library a National Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties. This month Carmen continues her hard work and works every day with the help of the San Luis staff in putting together this amazing project for a fifth time.”
Carmen received a mounted certificate, a name plate in the book of her choice, an Employee of the Month pin, and her photo will be hung at the San Luis Library during the month of October. Congratulations Carmen!
