Laura Haro, Library Assistant I – Foothills Library has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for October 2020. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Laura:
“Laura has a team player attitude. Laura is very knowledgeable of the books and services offered at the library during this pandemic. Laura offers an excellent customer service and she has a caring heart for everyone in our library. She is always ready to help any coworker when needed.
The last several months have been difficult for us all, but having a teammate like Laura has made the process much easier for everyone at the Foothills library. Her positive attitude and great sense of humor has helped many of us through the inevitable dark moments that I am sure we’ve all had over the past several months. Laura is a tireless worker, always ready to lend a hand with any project that someone is working on. She’s one of the first staff members to volunteer for additional duties and tasks and is incredibly thorough with everything she does. Her eagerness to learn and improve is a trait that we all should strive to equal. Laura is always professional, and is a huge asset to the Yuma County Library District. Foothills is lucky to have her.”
Laura received a mounted certificate, a name plate in the book of her choice, an Employee of the Month pin, and her photo will be hung at the Foothills Library during the month of October. Congratulations Laura!
