Beginning Friday, October 11th, the Yuma County Library District, in collaboration with the Yuma County Cooperative Extension, will host a “Healthy Living Series” at the Main Library. Workshop topics include nutrition, our relationships with food, healthy eating habits, and how other aspects of our daily lives can impact our food choices.
Fri, October 11th @ 4PM – Healthy Eating Patterns
Over the course of any given day, week, or year, individuals consume foods and beverages in combination: an eating pattern. An eating pattern is more than the sum of its parts; it represents the totality of what individuals habitually eat and drink, and these dietary components are important for our health. Join us for a program that discusses nutrients that our bodies need to be well. We will review three different healthy eating patterns.
Fri, October 18th @ 4PM – Physical Activity for Good Health
