
On Saturday, October 5th, celebrate International Observe the Moon Night at the Foothills Library! Join us anytime between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Foothills Library parking lot, 13226 E. South Frontage Road. Look at the sun, observe the moon, and view other planets through library telescopes provided courtesy of the Friends of the Foothills Library. There is no charge to attend.
International Observe the Moon Night is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation and understanding of our Moon, NASA planetary science and exploration. The annual event connects scientists, educators and lunar enthusiasts from around the world.
