Brenda Cervantes, Library Assistant I-Youth Services, has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for June 2017. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Brenda:
“She is constantly doing more than what is asked of her as far as duties are concerned. She even volunteered to make the YCL Comic Con logo and mascot in a matter of hours when she heard we did not get one ready in time. She is always willing to help with a smile and is never afraid to try out new things. She is extremely innovative and is a great person to the children. Families and their children often remark on her friendliness and eagerness to help. Youth Staff often rely on her when it comes to computer programming skills since she is extremely knowledgeable and willing to assist us.”
Brenda received a mounted certificate, a name plate in the book of her choice, an Employee of the Month pin, and her photo will be hung at the Main Library during the month of June. Congratulations Brenda!
