Patty Duran, Cataloging Specialist, has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for June 2021. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Patty:
“Patty has done an exceptional job this year, especially in helping tackle the government documents project, which involved re-classifying and re-classified thousands of federal documents accurately. It was a massive job. In addition, she has been heavily involved in several projects throughout the year, including cleaning up a branch’s A/V collection, cleaning up Main’s mending account, and assisting with a branch special event. She’s also been incredibly helpful with other staff, by answering their questions when it comes to A/V materials and navigating them in the right direction. She deserves a shout-out for her hard work in an especially challenging year.”
Patty received a mounted certificate, a name plate in the book of her choice, an Employee of the Month pin, and her photo will be hung at the Main Library during the month of June. Congratulations Patty!
