Laura Sanchez, Library Assistant I-Rover, has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for May 2019. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Laura:
“Laura is an exceptional co-worker who always provides help and support to everyone without hesitation. She has vast amount of knowledge and experience and always knows where books are located. Laura is constantly shelving and organizing her designated area, which is one that sees a lot of activity: Children’s! In her programs, Laura is always dedicated, creative and an overall warm hostess which always brings patrons in. We have a saying that she has magic since she seems to attract many patrons to her programs always, but I believe her sunny disposition might be part of her magic!”
Laura received a mounted certificate, a name plate in the book of her choice, an Employee of the Month pin, and her photo will be hung at the San Luis Library during the month of May. Congratulations Laura!
