“Pirates” Marathon @ Main Library

Ahoy, mateys! “Talk Like a Pirate Day” be approachin’, so what better way to prepare than a Pirates of the Caribbean Movie Marathon? Teenage land lubbers, report to the Main Library Teen Room smartly to watch the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow and friends!

Wednesday, September 16th @ 4:00 p.m.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
Blacksmith Will Turner teams up with eccentric pirate “Captain” Jack Sparrow to save his love, the governor’s daughter, from Jack’s former pirate allies, who are now undead. (PG-13)

Thursday, September 17th @ 4:00 p.m.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (2006)
Jack Sparrow races to recover the heart of Davy Jones to avoid enslaving his soul to Jones’ service, as other friends and foes seek the heart for their own agenda as well. (PG-13)

Friday, September 18th @ 4:00 p.m.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007)
Captain Barbossa, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann must sail off the edge of the map, navigate treachery and betrayal, and make their final alliances for one last decisive battle. (PG-13)

Saturday, September 19th @ 1:00 p.m.
TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY!
How long can you last talking like a pirate? Keep up the pirate-speak the longest and win a prize!

Saturday, September 19th @ 2:00 p.m.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)
Jack Sparrow and Barbossa embark on a quest to find the elusive fountain of youth, only to discover that Blackbeard and his daughter are after it, too. (PG-13)
