Summer Reading Program 2016

Super Sign-up Day is Saturday, June 4th! Stop by any library to pick up your reading log and participate in a kick-off activity! There is no charge to sign up.

How to Participate

KIDS-Complete your reading log and you’ll receive a free SUPER COOL MYSTERY PRIZE BAG and be entered in the GRAND PRIZE drawing. Complete additional reading logs and a survey for multiple chances to win the GRAND PRIZE, a $50 Toys R Us gift card!

TEENS-Read 20 books, attend 20 programs, or complete any combination of the two to be entered into a drawing for prizes. Two lucky winners from each branch will receive a $25 gift card. Complete additional reading logs for multiple chances to win!

ADULTS-Read 3 books, attend 3 programs, or complete any combination of the two to be entered into a drawing for prizes. Enter a second time by completing a “Reading Championship Challenge.” Submit a review for our Review Blog and be entered for a chance to win a gift card!

The Yuma Union High School District will continue providing meals for local children this summer. Through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Summer Food Service Program, which YUHSD implemented in 2001, any child under 18 can participate for free. There are no income or registration requirements.

The Summer Feeding Program is available from June 1st – July 29th.
Main Library, MON-FRI 11:30am-1:00pm (lunch); 1:05pm-1:30pm (snack)
San Luis Library, TUES-FRI 11:30am-1:00pm (lunch); 1:05pm-1:30pm (snack)
