The Yuma County Library District will join libraries across the nation to celebrate Teen Read Week October 10th-15th. Celebrated every October, Teen Read Week encourages teens to read for the fun of it and check out what’s new at their library!

Coding Bootcamp
Celebrate Teen Read Week by learning coding! Join us every day at 1:00 p.m. in the Teen Room for a variety of coding activities, including raspberry pi basics and creating your own video game.
SOMERTON LIBRARY
Thursday, October 13th @ 4:00 p.m.
Celebrate Teen Read Week!
Discover new favorite authors and learn about all the bilingual services the library offers for teens.
FOOTHILLS LIBRARY
Saturday, October 15th @ 10AM-5PM
Star Wars Reads Day
Fans of all ages are invited to dress up in their best Jedi or Imperial attire and enjoy games, activities, and prizes.

Star Wars Reads Day
Celebrate the 5th Annual Star Wars Reads, a celebration of Star Wars and reading! Enjoy trivia, crafts, and a display of Star Wars literature including novels, graphic novels, and books.
