In June 2023, YCLD will be upgrading its catalog system. Some services will be unavailable for short periods of time during the upgrade. Access to public computers, Wi-Fi, printing, checkouts, and online resources will not be affected.
I would like to place a book on hold?
We are currently working on upgrading our library system and we are unable to place any holds at the moment. We can definitely search the shelves for the item you are looking for.
I returned some items and I would like to check my account?
We are currently in the process of upgrading our library system and unfortunately, we cannot access your account. We can assure you that all returns will be accounted for. You are more than welcome to call us back after June 14th to check on your account.
I had some items for a while and I would like to renew them?
We are currently upgrading the library system and are unable to renew items. Items checked out prior to 6/5 were given an extended due date. Items checked out from 6/6-6/13 were given 21 days from the date of check out.
I would like to sign up for a library card?
We are not registering any new cards until after June 14; however, our Summer Reading Program is currently taking place and we have a variety of programs/activities that do not require having a library card.
I want to check out items but don’t have my library card?
Unfortunately, we are not able to look up accounts, if you would like to check out any items you would need your library card present.
If your system is down, does that mean that people can just check out items and not bring them back?
No, we are upgrading our system, once the upgrade is complete all check outs taken during this period will be updated as well.
I can’t access my Hoopla account, I forgot my password.
