Library Cards

Library cards are free to adult applicants who show a valid photo ID with current local address. If photo ID does not have a current local address, proof of a current Yuma county residential address will be required. A Post Office box will not be accepted as current address, only for mailing purposes.

    • Acceptable photo identification includes, but is not limited to: Driver’s License or State issued identification card, Military I.D., DES food stamp card, Bank/credit card, etc.
    • Acceptable proof of address includes: Rent receipt, Mail, Utility bill, Paycheck, Car Registration, Voter registration, Insurance card, Hunting/fishing license, Bank statement, Checkbook.

You can register online for an eCard, opens a new window to get instant access to digital library materials like eBooks, audiobooks and streaming videos, as well as online resources, opens a new window.  Please note, YCLD eCards expire after 30 days.

Non-resident Library Cards

Non-resident cards are available for a fee of $5.00 per month. $25.00 for six months, or $50.00 for one year. Call (928) 373-6492 for more information.

Library Cards for Youth

All children or young adults up to age 18 can be issued a library card with parent’s or legal guardian’s signature and photo ID.

Replacing a lost library card

Replacement library cards are available for $2.

Renewing a library card

YCLD library card accounts must be updated every year. Please ask for your library card’s expiration date at any YCLD location, or view your card's expiration date in My Account, opens a new window.  To update or renew your account, visit any YCLD location or call (928) 373-6492.

Blocked Account

Blocked status may be applied to accounts because of unpaid fees, reports of a stolen card, or if the account needs to be renewed. For assistance, please call (928) 373-6492.
