September is Library Card Sign-up Month
This September, the Yuma County Library District invites you to celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month and discover how a single card can open the door to endless possibilities.
With a library card, you can do more than check out books. From free programs and digital resources to computer access and the newest book releases, our libraries are connecting communities to information, resources, and entertainment.
We encourage everyone to see what's possible at the Yuma County Library District by signing up for a library card!
Library Card Sign-up Raffle
If you're signing up for a library card for the first time, you're eligible to enter a raffle for a $25 gift card!
Need more reasons to sign-up? Here's just a few of the perks of being a library cardholder:
- Access to our catalog, this includes books, comics, DVDs, audiobooks and more!
- Online resources in areas such as professional development, language learning, hobbies and crafts, and academic research.
- Checkout more seeds per month at the Heritage Library's Seed Library.
- Explore cultural and historical sites around southern Arizona with CulturePass.
Digital Scavenger Hunt Raffle and Prizes
We've made an online Digital Scavenger Hunt! Use our website and various resources to complete the tasks and when finished, you'll automatically be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card!
But that's not all, screenshot your "Congratulations!" confirmation page and show it to a staff member at a Circulation Desk at any Yuma County Library for a mystery duck prize and either:
- Free book coupon from the Friends of Yuma County Libraries, Inc. (Main Library only)
- Piece of candy (from all other library locations)
