Book Club Kits
What is a Book Club Kit?
1. Books for neighborhood book clubs to check out
Yuma County Library District now offers kits of 8 paperback books for neighborhood book clubs to check out.
2. Check out up to 2 Book Club Kits per card
Only two Book Club Kits may be checked out per card at a time.
3. Circulate for 8 weeks
All Book Club Kits circulate for 8 weeks.
4. Person checking out the Kit is responsible
The person checking out the Kit is responsible for making sure all 8 books are returned with the Kit.
5. Pick up your Kit
You will be notified when a Kit is ready for pick-up using your preferred notification method. Please pick up your kit at the circulation desk of the branch you specified within 15 days of receiving the notification.
How do I reserve a Book Club Kit?
You can now place a hold for a book club kit like any other item in the catalog.
1. Log in to your account.
2. Search for book club kits in the catalog or click on this book club kit link.
3. Find the title you want.
4. Click the availability details link to see the current availability status.
5. Click the Place hold button.
6. In the Place hold popup, select the branch where you’d like to pick up the kit. The default location is your home branch, or the one you specified on your Preferences page as your preferred location.
7. Click the Place hold button.
