National Library Week 2025

Celebrate National Library Week with the Yuma County Library District!

The Main, Foothills, Heritage, Somerton, San Luis, and Wellton Libraries will be hosting two fun events to celebrate National Library Week, sponsored by our Friends of the Yuma Library Inc.

Coloring Contest

From Tuesday, March 25th to Saturday, April 12th

We invite kids ages 10 and under to pick up a coloring page from any of our libraries. Color the page and return it to the library to be entered into the contest to win a prize!

Bookmark Hunt

From Monday, April 7th to Saturday, April 12th

Each day during National Library Week, our libraries will be hiding bookmarks in the stacks, if you find a bookmark labeled "Winner" you can turn it in to win a prize! All ages are welcome to participate.
