10th Annual Art & Poetry Exhibition
Foothills Library | February 20 – March 6, 2027
The Yuma County Library District is proud to present the 10th Annual Art & Poetry Exhibition at the Foothills Library. This community exhibition brings poets and visual artists together to create unique collaborative works.
Poets submit original poems, and participating artists select a poem to inspire an original work of visual art. The selected poem and completed artwork are displayed together as a collaborative piece during the exhibition.
Call to Poets
Poets are invited to submit one original poem to be considered for the exhibition.
Poetry Submission Period: November 3 - December 11, 2026 by 5:00pm
Call to Artists
Artists are invited to create an original work of visual art inspired by one of the poems submitted for the exhibition.
Check back in December for more information regarding art submissions.

Opening Ceremony
Saturday, February 20, 2027 | 10:00 AM
Foothills Library Meeting Room
Participants and community members are invited to attend the opening ceremony. Meet the artists and poets and hear about the inspiration behind their collaborative works. All ages are welcome, admission is free and light refreshments will be provided.
