SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE: The collection consists mainly of letters Verna Lee Raymond wrote home to his wife, Blanche, while he was deployed with Company L, 158th Infantry during World War II. The finance papers consist of bank statements and receipts that reflect a short period of his business life here in Yuma.
